Artists at the heart of what we do
At OSA, we believe grassroots venues should be places where new work gets heard, seen and given space to grow.

Our programme puts original creativity first. From live music and electronic artists to spoken word, visual art, theatre and experimental performance, we want OSA to be somewhere artists can share their own work, try something new and connect with an audience.

That doesn't mean everything has to fit neatly into a genre, or that every night will feel the same. In fact, we'd rather it didn't.
​
We work with artists, musicians, promoters and curators to give them the space and support to create the events they want to put on. Wherever we can, we offer artist-friendly arrangements, including free or subsidised venue space, technical and promotional support and opportunities for artists to retain their ticket income.
