Plant-based. Homemade. Independent.
Everything we serve at OSA is plant-based, but you don't need to be vegan to enjoy it.
Our approach is simple: make great food, buy thoughtfully and keep looking for ways to reduce our impact.
We don't claim to be perfect or hide behind claims of being "carbon neutral". Instead, we're open about the choices we make and are always looking for practical ways to do things better.
Food made here
Our kitchen focuses on homemade plant-based food, taking familiar flavours and textures and creating them from ingredients such as tofu, mushrooms and our own homemade seitan.
Alongside OSA favourites, you'll find whole food salads, seasonal dishes and changing specials.
We source bread from local Bakery Rex, who specialise in Real Bread made fresh without additives or 'improvers'.
Look out for our themed food nights, including Taco Thursday and To-Fish Friday, alongside pop-ups and special menus throughout the year.
Our menu changes regularly, so download our latest menu to see what's cooking.
Coffee, cakes & something different
Our coffee comes from independent roasters Coopers, located in Marlow and is served with oat milk as standard.
Alongside the classics, you'll find speciality drinks, beetroot lattes, homemade iced teas and an ever-changing selection of cakes and baked treats.
Everything on our cake counter is made in-house by our chef, Summer, with new flavours appearing every week.
Local beer & independent drinks
We love supporting breweries close to home, with beers from Windsor independents including Windsor & Eton Brewery, Two Flints and Indie Rabble.
You'll also find gluten-free beers, alcohol-free options and an evolving selection from independent breweries including Brass Castle, BRULO and others.
Our cider comes from Two Farmers, including a particularly good 0% cider. We even stock their crisps, which come in compostable packets.
Behind the bar you'll also find wines, spirits, cocktails and spritzes, including plant-based takes on classics such as the White Russian.
Plenty without the alcohol
Not drinking?
We put just as much thought into our alcohol-free selection, with low alcohol beers, cider, juices, mocktails and interesting soft drinks.
We stock Karma Drinks, which supports social projects through the Karma Foundation, alongside kombucha sodas from Bristol's Counter Culture and other independent producers.
Making better choices
Being 100% plant-based is one of the biggest choices we've made about our food. Plant-based diets generally require less land and can have substantially lower greenhouse-gas emissions and freshwater impacts than diets containing animal products.
But sustainability doesn't stop with what's on the plate.
Where practical, we choose cans over glass, minimise plastic, buy locally and support independent producers. We consider packaging, transport, waste and where products come from when deciding what earns a place behind our bar.
We won't pretend we've solved everything. Some choices involve compromises, and we're always learning.
When you choose OSA, we want you to know that we're making these choices too. Not because they're always the easiest or most profitable option, but because lots of small decisions can add up to something meaningful.
If what we're doing inspires someone to make one small change of their own, even better.
And we're always open to learning. If you know a brilliant sustainable supplier, local producer or simply a better way we could be doing something, we'd genuinely love to hear from you.
We're not aiming for perfect. We're aiming for better.
