Plan your visit

We want your visit to Other Space Arts to be welcoming, comfortable and easy to plan. Below you will find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.

Where is Other Space Arts?

Other Space Arts CIC
Kardelton House
Vansittart Estate
Windsor
SL4 1SE

We are a short walk from Windsor town centre and both Windsor railway stations. We are very close to Windsor & Eton Brewery

What are your opening hours?

Our usual opening hours are:

Thursday and Friday: 9.30am–2.30pm and 5.30pm–11pm
Saturday: 9.30am–11pm
Sunday: 9.30am–4pm, with extended hours for some events

Opening hours can vary for special events, so please check the event listing or our social media before making a special journey.

Where can I park?

OSA does not have dedicated customer parking.

Parking can be found nearby evenings and weekends and at Alma Road Car Park, King Edward VII Car Park and Windsor Leisure Centre. Please check the individual car park’s opening hours, restrictions and charges before travelling.

Can I travel by public transport?

We are within walking distance of Windsor & Eton Central and Windsor & Eton Riverside railway stations. Local bus services also stop in and around Windsor town centre.

Do I need to book?

You are welcome to visit for coffee, food or drinks without booking.

We recommend reserving a table on event nights, particularly if you would like to eat, as the café and bar can get busy.

Reserve a table at:
https://www.otherspacearts.com/reservations

Do I need a ticket for events?

Some events are free and others require a ticket. Please check the individual event listing for prices, booking links and any age guidance.

Is OSA family-friendly?

Yes. OSA is a family-friendly venue throughout the day and evening, and children are welcome in our café, gallery and at many of our events.

Some upstairs events may not be suitable for children because of their content, format or sound levels. Please check the individual event listing or contact us before attending if you are unsure.

Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult while at the venue.

Do you have baby-changing facilities?

Yes. Baby-changing facilities are available downstairs.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

The downstairs café, bar and gallery are on the ground floor. Our upstairs performance space is only accessible by stairs, and we do not currently have a wheelchair-accessible toilet.

Please contact us before your visit if you would like to discuss access requirements. We will always be honest about the limitations of the building and do what we reasonably can to help.

Are dogs welcome?

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our downstairs café and bar.

Dogs must be kept under control and remain on the floor, not on the furniture. Please be considerate of other visitors, particularly children and anyone who may be nervous around dogs.

Assistance dogs are always welcome.

Is all your food plant-based?

Yes. Everything prepared and served by our kitchen is plant-based, and we do not intentionally use meat, dairy, eggs or other animal-derived ingredients.

However, some products supplied to us are manufactured in facilities that also handle milk or other animal-derived products. These products may carry precautionary “may contain” statements.

What should I know about allergens?

Plant-based does not mean allergen-free.

Our food and drinks may contain or come into contact with recognised allergens. Some ingredients are also produced in factories that handle allergens including milk.

Our kitchen and preparation areas are very small. Although we take care when preparing food, we cannot guarantee that any dish or drink will be completely free from traces of allergens or cross-contamination.

Please tell a member of staff about any allergies or intolerances as soon as you arrive and again before ordering. We can provide allergen information and discuss what may be suitable, but we may not be able to accommodate every allergy safely.

Can I bring my own food or drink?

Only food and drink purchased from OSA may normally be consumed on the premises.

Outside food may only be brought in when it has been agreed in advance by OSA management. If you need to bring food for medical, allergy-related or other essential reasons, please contact us before your visit.

Only drinks purchased from the downstairs OSA café and bar may be consumed in the upstairs venue.

Do you allow external caterers?

We do not allow external caterers.

This helps us protect the space, maintain our food-safety procedures and ensure that OSA remains a fully plant-based venue. Please speak to our team about the catering options available for private bookings and events.

Can events be loud?

Yes. Sound levels vary, but some live music and DJ events can reach high volumes.

Complimentary hearing protection is available from the bar. If you are sensitive to noise, prefer a particular fit or are attending with children, we recommend bringing your own suitable ear defenders or hearing protection.

Please check the individual event information or contact us if you would like to ask about likely sound levels.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the building, including the upstairs performance space and downstairs café and bar.

Please smoke or vape outside, away from the entrance, and dispose of waste responsibly.

What behaviour do you expect at OSA?

We want OSA to be a safe and welcoming space where people can arrive as themselves.

We ask everyone to treat artists, staff, volunteers and other visitors with kindness and respect. Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour or deliberately making another person feel unsafe will not be accepted.

If something makes you uncomfortable during your visit, please speak to a member of the team.

Can I contact you before visiting?

Yes. Please contact us if you have questions about accessibility, allergens, bringing children, event content or anything else that would help you plan your visit.
