A Live Reading from "Abba's Favourite: 15 Essays on the Rhythms of Life"

Time & Location
03 Apr 2026, 17:30 – 19:00
Other Space Arts, Kardelton House, Vansittart Estate, Windsor SL4 1SE, UK
About the event
Ibemere will read three essays in sequence: The Void Caused by Grief, a work that inhabits the hollow left by loss without reaching for premature resolution; When Bex CameBack, a meditation on friendship and the grace of presence at the right moment; and Brown Pews and the Lessons of Humility, an essay that locates unexpected instruction in the experience of an examination hall.
The readings explore grief, human connection, and the quieter turns of life — themes that have established Ibemere as one of the most promising voices to emerge in contemporary African creative nonfiction.
The event takes place at Other Arts Space on Friday, 3rd April 2026 at 5:30 PM.
