About the event
At just 20 years old, Maria Mihailik is already turning heads with her distinctive voice, delicate fingerpicking and emotionally honest songwriting. Blending intimate storytelling with a timeless folk sensibility, her music sits somewhere between Joni Mitchell, Naima Bock and her own quietly powerful modern sound.
Her self-titled debut album is set for release in April 2026, produced by Cameron J Niven at his Surrey Docks studio using vintage tape machines and a minimalist approach, creating warm, impressionistic textures around her haunting vocals.
With two singles released this year and a growing run of live shows across London and the UK, this is a chance to catch a remarkable emerging artist in an intimate setting.
Presented in collaboration with FOLKLORE - a platform for high-quality, non-commercial indie music. Since 2009, they’ve supported artists through live opportunities, representation, consultancy and carefully curated label services, working with talent from grassroots to international level.
